Guys and Girls..i guess i know what sounds "zzzzzzzz..." are u talking about.
Allow me to explain what i know about it.

The sweet sounds (sound or sounds?? sorry about my grammar) that u heard (i called it "sweet" coz it's an indication of yr Savvy..err AMT to be exact!) are exclusively available on Savvy AMT only. I confirmed this during TT, where i opened up both AMT and MT Savvy. Only Savvy AMT got that sounds. The sounds comes from Pressure Accumulator in the AMT system.

Refer to attached images in this thread for better understanding.
http://www.savoc.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1018

What happen is when any 1 of 4 door being open..no regard whether the key is in the keyhole or not, the Pressure Accumulator will activated and start build up pressure for the AMT system. The pressure will goes up to 50bar inside the accumulator. The hydraulic system of the AMT operating at 50bar of pressure. The sounds that we heard is the sounds of the operation of the Pressure Accumulator...and this is not a problem. In fact, it is good to hear it whenever u open up any door (not sure about bonnet and rear hatch) as an indication that the accumulator is functioning and healthy.

Then, u insert yr car key into the keyhole and rotate it to "ON" just before u crank the engine (always wait for the engine check light to goes off then only u crank yr engine, always practice that!). At this moment, u will hear another sound. I'm not sure what that sounds are, but i believe both AMT and MT got it. It can't be fuel pump's sounds coz u'll hear it as long as the engine running, aite? Furthermore, the sounds will dissappear by the time the engine check light goees off. And the sounds come from in front of u..somewhere in the engine bay or firewall. I suspect this sounds comes from throttle body motor. The throttle body motor will rotate the throttle's butterfly plate inside the throttle body's throat with amount given by ECU. We all know that Savvy using Drive-by-Wire technology, aite. So, i believe this sounds related to throttle body motor for throttle body's butterfly plate positioning. If i got better infos on all of these (those sounds), i'll update it in here..of course.

Guys and Girls...don't u love yr AMT? It's great, isn't it? :P
